Understanding the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)

The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid waiver that allows eligible children under age 21 to receive free in-home skilled nursing and personal care.

    • Children under 21

    • Must have Medicaid

    • Must have a medical condition requiring skilled care

    • Wheelchair dependent

    • Tracheostomy & ventilator care

    • G-tube feedings

    • Medication & seizure management

    • Bathing, repositioning, and feeding assistance

  • We guide you through every step:

    • Initial Consultation & Assessment

    • Coordination with Your Child’s Physician

    • Completion of Medicaid Forms (DMA-6, PPOT, Appendix T)

    • Submission to Alliant Health Solutions for Approval

    • Start of Home Care Services Once Authorized

    • Appeals and Reauthorizations

    • Care plan changes

    • Provider transfers (we welcome families switching from other agencies)
